How It Works

DSMTP automatically detects forms from supported plugins. Once detected, you can:

  1. Assign a template — Choose which email template to use for each form's submissions.
  2. Set recipients — Override the default email recipient per form.
  3. Map fields — Match form fields to template placeholders.
  4. Customize subject — Override the template's subject line for specific forms.
  5. Override From — Set custom from email address and name per assignment.

Creating an Assignment

  1. Go to DSMTP → Forms to see all detected forms grouped by plugin.
  2. Click on a form to view its fields.
  3. Go to DSMTP → Assignments and click Add New.
  4. Select the form from the dropdown (auto-detected from your plugins).
  5. Select the template to use.
  6. Configure recipients, field mapping, and overrides.
  7. Save the assignment.

File Attachments

DSMTP supports file attachments from form submissions. If your form includes file upload fields, the uploaded files are automatically attached to the notification email.
